> Did I Get A Bargain On My P900?
Bookmark topic
@anish
Sorry, I was answering @tarun hari but your deal showed before mine. I got mine on Orange (I like Orange) before O2 had the P900.
The best deal is the one Pachy suggested which my friend got which was at CPW, a free P900 on a £95/month contract which he switched down to the lower tariff before he had his first bill so he actually only paid about £45 for then back to his usual low tariff

. I would have done same but got my phone before the free P900 on £95 tariff was available.
I believe CPW have changed their policy wording to stop this now
@masseur
Did you miss out on the scams i.e. O2,CPW,Link or do you just like second hand phones

@ tarun hari: Try using nail varnish remover or T-Cut (a car polish product) to remove the Orange logo. Use sparingly and mask around the logo first !

yeah, I have been following the threads here about the various deals but I hate contracts and nearly always buy phones off contract, especially since I don't know how much longer I will be in UK at any given time. etc etc. So for sim free, unbranded, unlocked and paid for right now this was a great deal for me.
as for insurance, I also hate insurance and only have insurance for what I really must have it for. If something happens to a phone I'll just buy another, but that has only occurred twice to me personally in 17 years of owning mobile phones.
anyway, still getting to like the P900 and am becoming more enamoured with it as the hours go by.

Hey, the only way you will be able to get your five free messages a day is by regestering your text saver on an orange payg sim. It will not work with any other network or on a pay monthly sim. Just scratch of the back of the card in the text saver, dial 450, and type in the number.
It will instantly top u up by five pounds but beware, the free messages may not be applied to your account for another 24 hours. Trial and error im afraid!
Also, make sure that your message centre number for SMS is changed from the standard +447973100973 to +447973100979
text saver verison
As far as taking removing the sticker...
well, you will need to get a replacement front bit from a

repair agent! Don't yet know of any way to remove it!!!
It was a decent deal you got from orange - it is not available on payg anymore from the retail side - not sure about the web however.
Best of luck with getting rid of that orange badge

For all those who're wondering, yes the O2 offer is over. It was fully withdrawn on the 30th of December - though stock levels had pretty much made it impossible to get it from O2 stores anyway.
Aside from the P900, XDA and XDA II you can essentially any phone if you take O2 400 (some O2 200)... still decent. Just glad I got the P900 when I did.
Cheers
