1 You can unlock the keypad lock by pushing the wheel towards you then inwards.
2 Same for screen lock.
3 Above the triangle in handwriting recognition. If you draw a straight line going upwards, you can then draw a character and it will recognise it. Many characters seem to be recognized this way. Eg ! # & £ * % "
4 You can use the mirror at the back of the phone to help take a picture.
5 Please don't hurt me for no 4.
6 You can uninstall unused apps which are originally on the phone. Go to file manager - Uninstall. Here you can uninstall "demo" which takes up 1.2meg or so, the same with that "V-Rally demo" you never play but just feel like keeping it on your phone....just incase.
7 If it is a large file your bluetoothing to your phone, it will take a while for it to show in the "beamed" part of messaging. Larger pics might not even show.
8 If you need to dum the sound from your phone you can quickly put your thumb over the speaker holes at the back. Damn sight quicker then open flip speaker icon fumblery.
9 When MMSing take the option if it comes up to crop pictures, this will make the file smaller, makes it more likely for it to be viewable on the recipeients phone and give more focus on the subject while eliminating waste around the edges.

How to use my PC's Internet connection via USB or BT?
It is very simple. All you have to do is:
for Bluetooth (assuming that you already paired your Px00 and your PC and configured the connection for being used without confirmation), simply enable appropriate Bluetooth serial ports (usually COM3 and COM4) on your PC using "Phone Connection Link" Preferences. With newer BT software you can simply select "Quick Connect -> Serial Port" and choose the Px00 from the devices list. As soon the Bluetooth icon on your P800/P900 shows that the communication has been established, you can launch any Internet program on your Px00 and start using the Internet connection of your PC.
for USB connection, simply put your phone on its craddle paying attention that no Internet connection on your phone is active. Your phone will use the Internet connection of your PC automatically.
Note: Not every program is able to use your PC's connection. While most 3rd party programs work that way without any problems, the built in WWW browser and the Messaging application work with GPRS/dial-up connection of your phone only. Use Opera and some third party email program (like EmailViewer) instead.

New simple tips for those who doesn't know yet, for those who knew, please don't show off & critized in an unconstructive manner!!! REMEMBER this forum is to SHARE your knowlege NOT to bully others with your knowlege!!!
1- Two ways to initiate voice dial: Either hold down the jog dial or OK button for more than 2sec
2- U can Zoom in @ certain region of your background/wallpaper in the flip closed/open by putting the stylus on the image then drag in the direction you like. This can be done in control panel ==> display (when you replace image)
3- To position the phone in the cradle, all you have to do is to align the phone's socket with the little bump on the cradle by angle the phone away from you to see the bump & the socket of the phone easier ==>then pull the phone toward you & let the phone slide in position ==> then let the phone fall back away from you.
To remove the phone from the cradle, pull the phone toward you & lift. I think this tip is more helpful for the new P900 owner.
BTW, noticing that this post attracts quite few viewers

Quick-Dialing in Flip-Closed Mode with Keys:
As for the "Voicebox" Number: just press for 2-3 seconds one of the keys (e.g. Searching for somebody called "Leo", press key "5" long enough and you will be entering automatically into the adressbook (in flip-closed mode). Then press 2x (short the same key and you will jump automatically to the first adressbook entry with an "L". Then use other keys (for 2nd letter of the name) or scrolldown/up with the wheel until you're on the right entry.
This is by far the fastest way to find an entry in the adressbook (worked on Ericssons since a long time and its nice, that SE implemented it in the P800/P900 too).
If you defined some "Quick-Dial-Selection" on the "Telephone" Application, then pressing one of the keys, will first show the "Quick-Dial-Selection" entry. Just hold the key for 2 more seconds and you will then enter the Adressbook-Mode.
(I assume most of you did now that?)

Hi
Did somebody come across the possibility to give a powerpoint presentation w/ the P900 & a beamer only using bluetooth?
My idea is to make a bluetooth connection between the P900 and a special bluetooth receiver, similar to the Igo Pitch Duo available for Palms (http://www.mobl.com/software/pitch/index.html)
which is then connected to a regular beamer. The ppt presentation would run on the P900 (e.g. in a viewer such as Repligo), transferred via bluetooth to the (mystique) bluetooth receiver and then forwarded to the beamer.
This combination would offer mobility during the presentation, plus no need for a laptop. Any suggestions how this could work or why this will never work (e.g. limited bandwidth of the bluetooth).
Thanks
