I'm from Estonia (EMT) and sometimes it happens in here too - when I want to check e-mail using my phone. But not with GPRS, but with usual DATA (when GPRS does not work).
Then I have to try and try and after some attemps it goes ok. But recently with my girlfriend's phone T65 I had to delete this data account and create it again. Then it start worked.

That is exactly how I did it; opened the topic, pressed reply, entered username and password, entered the reply and submited.
I'm sitting waiting for a T310 right now to try from that as well.
Edit: someone bump this please.
Edit 2: OK, seems like Laffen is aware of it: "Loginning from t310 problem" it says.
I'm sure he is on to it then.
All we can do from here is wait...
