It came in handy on a 20hr flight I took to Sydney. The phone comfortably fits in my jacket pocket. Moreover I can watch vids while I'm enjoying my meals on those tiny trays. Chances are I would have already seen the movie shown on the flight. Now I have the luxury of listening to media with my top of the line Sennsheiser headsets with modified 2.5mm jack this has become my primary entertainment tool away from home. The screen is not too small that I have to squint. Moreover the incentive for me is that I actually have content that's popular enough that most wouldn't mind watching on a matchbox size screen. Again, this is for entertainment on the go. I think lugging my Sony Viao or IBM laptop on the plane or train can be quite excessive. I have a 50" Plasma HDTV hanging on the wall of my bedroom across the foot of my bed and all I have time to watch on it is the evening news or a late night comedy show. So what I don't have time to see at home I take it with me on my P900.

yes true i know what you mean i love to pop in my Shure E5c and listen to some quality music. A couple weeks back i was on a flight to Japan (16hrs) i hate inflight entertainment its always old movies (well old to me as i tend to see most things first) I rather watch a film i love on a screen about an inch smaller than the standard 1st Class BA personal entertainment suite screen i have the choice of choosing a film for them to play for me but i always cannot be bothered to call over the flight atendents i just tend to watch maybe a series of friends or several simpsons episodes or some office episode. i have a spare duo or two with a movies on but i watch them in half hour sgements then maybe have a drink or chat with the pilots. but i know what your saying. many people complain about the sound quality on their p900 but if you make the investment in to a pair of Shure E5c you will be enjoying p900 music much more the bass i deeper and the middle range is a lot more defined.

alas its no comparision to my Bose 7.1 system (1100w) accompnied with my Sony Projector (60ins).

but then again i have Lynn sound sytem in my car with a 7ins TFT screen aswell so i am spoilt fro choice even when i'm on the move!

Business (job pays for it) and First Class m8. You ever tried putting a laptop with a 16" screen plus a meal tray on an airplane meal tray. So how did you assume that I flew cattle from that?? Strange.

Lol, i fear it may be turning into that.

FYI, they dont serve meals on trays in anything other than economy, in business and 1st they serve directly to you on proper plates etc. Just so you can tweak your bull in future.

When someone starts blagging on about how great their kit is it generally only ends up sounding like one thing......... *Yawn*

Trays in Club or First? Er, I think not. Next time you spout your BS at least try to sound older than a 14 year old schoolkid with too many subscriptions to gadget mags!

I bought my P900 to get my work done, not to show off.

btw. I'm driving a 20year old car, it's cheaper than P900
