Ulukai > Bluespoon is a bluetooth (wireless) headset just like e.g. HBH-15 and others from SonyEricsson.

The Bluespoon is at this moment the smallest bluetooth headset in the world,..weights less than 10g. Very good sound-quality. Because of its size alone, we use some very specialized materials, e.g. microphone, speaker and so on.

You can see and read about it here : http://www.nextlink.to

Its called Bluespoon, because it was shaped/moulded in a teaspoon, and well the "blue" part of the name, is because its bluetooth

So to find out just how big (small) Bluespoon is,..grap a teaspoon, hehe.
It will fit in that !

i have one question for jh...if you r willing to share it.

what type of bluetooth chip are you using? because all current chip tht provide bluetooth wireless function is not small enough to fit into the bluespoon set. the surface area those chip have is almost same as the headset and this is still excluding the switches, battery, speaker and microphone. I just get very excited to see you can squeeze so many things into such small size.

Your welcome. No I dont have any prices on these new things. We havent talked about pricing/releases yet.
Thanks,..glad You like my drawings

Yes they do fit We use the newest bluetooth chipset.
Its very small,..sorry, but thats all I'm allowed to say
I cant go into the tech-part.

It all fits very neatly into the Bluespoon. You have to remember, that the other parts we use in the headset, are quite unique,..extremely small. Everything in the Bluespoon is smaller than regular headset-parts.

Ok the microphone used in the bluespoon sences jaw vibrations which are transmitted to the bloospoon, what i dont understand is that how the bluespoon can actually interpret your voice, or mostly the tone of your voice through these vibrations. Also if you are in a club and try to talk on the bluespoon with all the bass causing your whole body to vibrate what does that mean for the bluespoon....since your jaw is constantly vibrating i am guessing this person will sound like an alien or something. jh67 could you plz answer this?

No, the Bluespoon doesnt have the jawbone microphone yet. It will come later on. This was also written in an earlier post a long time ago, but You probably havent seen that post
The microphone on the Bluespoon is the silver-part that sticks out in the lower part of the Bluespoon. And its not a retractable microphone, its a so called built-in "external" microphone. (jawbone-mic is internal)

I've tested the jawbone microphone in a lab, that can simulate all kinds of enviroments. Tried it with e.g. a football-stadium. A lot of noice in there !
The jawbone microphone is noice-cancelling at its best. You dont hear the noice in the background at all.

Hehe,..no you wont sound like an alien

You can read more about the jawbone microphone under "Invisio" on :

It will have to wait a while Theres no release-date on the jawbone-model yet.

Yep : Visiting-hours are from 9.30 to half past nine,..hehe

Epedemic just asked if Nextlink had visiting-hours
And needed "test-people".

Right now we're testing "in-house",..so for the moment we dont use test-personal, but heyy,..who knows ? When we become as big as e.g. SE,..we might need some ppl to do some testing
