for all who don`t get it: this topic is only for p800 p900 users. They can access html with a wap gprs apn!!!!! not an internet one!
In England there is Wap Unlimited from Orange for 4 poundsa month and that`s great for a p800/p900 user who can access html using wap apn.
Get It?
I was able to download on Orange in England 2MB ! @Bogdan u know!
So this must be a limit only for Orange Romania and a few other networks

try clearing your cache and cookies sometimes its just simple things that get in the way.
sometimes my t610 wont download or connect just a clear of the cache a turn off and on always seems to do the trick

i know they were on about a p8/900 was just trying to offer alternatives.
however if you are also from the same country and using the same network it must be there problem.
mind you if its like in the uk as a previous poster said were you can view proper web pages using the internal browser and do this using an unlimited wap connection i suppose you cant have you cake and eat it with wanting large downloads.
i know you would like both but maybe thats the trade off for been able to surf the web for a fraction of what other companys would charge for there gprs internet

Let me put it this way:how many users have phones with internal html browser like p800?Not so many! Most of users has wap browser. And that's why I bought p800 (one of the resons),becouse it has html browser.
Now,if there are users that have free wap gprs,I kindly ask them to make a test:see if you are able to download a file larger than 350k,please.
I know that wap was designed for low power procesing phones with a little bit of memory, and with many limitations, but I couldn't find anywhere wrote "Hey!WAP has another limit! Is the maximum file you want to download, which is about....k".
But maybe I din't search a lot. That's way,I want to know if there are users that can download larger files, like Opera, from wap.my-symbian.com,which is almost 880k.
Thanks for your time!
