the p900 runs on AAA batterys i thought it worked on a big one inside which you plug in to charge?

Man who is the real idiot here? by the way the p900 can run on AAA batteries i made a little battery holder with power regulator it takes 3 AAA and they last for a week. Good for long haul transport and heavy usage in "the field."

If the guy you saw was using a real pen, then he was destroying the P900. I'm guessing this was in one of the Globe Hubs?
The P900 has a PDA-like touch screen. That means, it has a stylus. No ink is involved, the P900 screen draws a black line where you pass over it with a stylus. ALL PDAs, since the ancient Palm, have been like this. If you do not know how that works, ask a friend with a PDA to demonstrate.
