oh, on my HongKong SIM card i get the same effect.. the stupid line1 icon.. you can't do anything about it.. it's simply because your SIM card allows for two lines..
i think instead of asking
about it, you should ask your service provider.. maybe ask them to cancel your line2 or something.. although i'm not sure whether that's possible.. *shrug*
you hafta realize tho, that even tho you're subscribed to only one line, your card still has the capability to have two.. which is why this happens..
