The pic is actually a big turn off, I wouldnt buy a phone that is basically a T300!
I think SE should instead make a device that connects to your home phone line and then when you enter the home a bit like when you enter a car, it connects to the land line and does all the smart stuff. Via Bluetooth of course, only problem is I dont think it will work with the current 10M bluetooth, perhaps still a way off I think.
Then I could use my P900 with the landline, instead of buying a T300

and I've never heard of it being able to connect with the mobile via bluetooth or even via anything at all. Please explain the meaning of this pic.

Yeah, the phone reminds me of the T300.
Anyway, here is the deal with this phone. Basically, you have a landline phone and a mobile phone in one. Its a two in one phone where when you at home and its in a Bluetooth range, the phone call only charges you like a land line phone which is cheaper but once you get out of range from bluetooth, it charges you like a mobile phone. Just think of it like a landline phone that you can bring anywhere. This is actually an advantage to you guys where ever BT is servicing because this mean that you can save money on you cellphone bill.
@redtooth
Regarding the Bluetooth range issue, I don't know if you are aware of that there is a Bluetooth Long Range. It will come out in the new SE Z1010. Its has a range 100 meters instead of just 10M.

cingular has something like that here in the U.S. that, i think, might be a little better. it's called "fastfoward" and what it does is charges your phone and automaticly fowards your incoming calls to your landline and doesn't use up your minutes.
here's a link

It's in Dutch, but the new DECT of Siemens, the SX353 is already available with BT:
Siemens SX353 DECT ISDN
Translation:
Bluetooth-communicatie met mobiele telefoon, headset, PDA (de bluetooth-communicatie zorgt er bijv. voor dat een binnenko mend gesprek op je mobieltje kostenloos wordt doorgesluisd naar het Gigaset-systeem)
Bluetooth-communication with a mobile phone, headset or PDA.
The BlueTooth connection can be used by transferring incomming calls to your mobile phone or headset, And you can also call with your mobile or headset over your home/work landline.
