My T68i survived 10 minutes on a rinse and spin cycle in my washing machine. ^_^

Took it out and the screen was still on amazingly.. However it never actually recovered fully and conked out after a week lol..

Ah well!

Well, my broder was lucky once. He dropped his t68 in some water on some schooltrip, and it worked fine a few days later all though it was turned on.

Mine was also turned on

IŽm afraid it had some short circuit

Nevertheless i will wait some more days to dry ir completely and then iŽll go to a repair shop...if it canŽt be repaired iŽll try to sell the battery and the charger and buy another t610 - i was in love with the phone, the best i ever had.

Well my friend dropped her phone (a Nokia 8250) into the washing machine once... Not sure how similar this situation would be to yours (since we all have SE phones) but she had to take apart everything and let them all dry for about three days before everything was fully functional again... So maybe give it more time and hopefully it'll work out for you!

You guys may not believe. I've dropped my t610 from my room in level 7 to B2 hard floor, it's bounced up sometimes and fall into the sewer near there. I've found it may be after 6 or 7hours later, so it was in the water for such a long time.
When I found it, it's almost tear apart. I've brought it up, put it there for 2 days for all the water in it dried up.
When I turned it on, the screen was very dark, I've hardly seen anything on the screen. I put the SIM in it, it could not dectect the SIM, I thought my fone was totally dead. But I try and try some times, amazingly, the screen was just as normal, but it still could not detect the SIM.
I brought it to the service center, they cleaned it up for me, and you guess what, it is working perfectly!!!! Now, my fone is not in a rectangle shape, the red foreface dropped out, the battery is bent...but it is working!!!! AMAZING SONY ERICSSON!!!
