A single question: Does the T630 have a calender that repeats birthdays the next year again or is it like the T610 calender only possible by synchro with outlook?
thx

T630 = Z600 in other cloths.
The Z600 has no 'Friends' messanger. But it will be unable to use, because the network provider need to be compatible with that to use it.
Just buy the design you like.
(i personally dont like the Z600 design)

Well, for me, the differences are not what we can tell only by the spec., the UI, and the shape. Here below are the reasons I opt for Z600,
1. Lower SAR value: T630, as well as T610, comes with much stronger SAR value which, told by my friends, causes some headache problems after longer talking sessions. They now use handsfree's as compromise. I can't see too much convenience by picking up the earpiece, activate the phone, than talk. Z600 comes with much lower SAR value, even only half of that on T68/i. There is no significantly scientific evidence to show the higher SAR's is more harmful. But, your body will tell you.
2. Reception: I'm satisfied with the reception on my Z600, and I did do some researches through various user's groups to confirm this before I decided to buy it. However, as for T630, there is no such uniform conclusion. Anyone who is interested in this topic may check out the forum on
www.mobileburn.com for details. According to the SE USA, SE didn't tweak the RF reception on T630, so T630 supposedly would perform as well, or as bad, as T610 does. This may be really personal, I just can't tolerate a bad reception phone.

After having a T610, Nokia 6600 and now a Z600, I have to say I am impressed with my Z600 far more than any other phone I have EVER used.
Reasons why I like the Z600 over T6xx/Nokia 6600:
1. The keypad size (good for medium to large fingers)
2. Excellent Audio quality (microphone closer to the mouth, earpiece closer to your ear)
3. Size (relatively small when closed, home phone size when opened)
4. Ringtone volume (Louder than the T6xx due to dedicated speaker)
5. Quality feel... this phone just feels classy and well built.
Why over Nokia 6600:
1. Turn on time from off (6600 takes almost 1 minute)
2. Bluetooth implementation (6600 is shockingly poor)
3. Ergonomics (6600 keypad is B.A.D. BAD)
But in the end - each to their own. I never thought I would want a clamshell phone until I got the Z600 - now I don't want anything else and my wife wants to steal it to replace her T68i (she didn't want my T610 - but the Z600 she likes).
Regards,
Shane.

T630. its my opinion, never was a fan of clamshell fones. i could "survive" 2 use a flip like on T28 and T39, but not more. reg ps: anything u decide 2 choose, have fun with it

What about display?
Z600 uses TFD (Thin Film Diode) while T630 has TFT (Thin Film Transistor).
Has anyone compared and see which screen is better in praxis?
Also can someone confirm that T630 actually has a dedicated speaker for polyphonic signals or it still uses buzzer?

z600 display is apparently better (although i haven't seen it myself), but no t630 doesn't have a dedicated polyphonic speaker.
