@ Spart - The website actually illustrates how one goes about checking the firmware revision as well.. It's a link in that "get started" page.

...compared to the R2B02 Release (and previous), the current R3A06 release (on my P900 162003/2) is definately "better":
As mentioned above: Sync and Data-Transfer is faster AND the "Sudden Reboot during installation" issue definately is solved.
No (new) functions detected so far, however: Better stability + Speed
I'm glad to have it on my P900
Cheers

So the only sure conclusion I can come about for this firmware revision thus far is that it is necessary. It would be nice if SE offered a firmware beta program.

onwards with my problem. (short re-cap: since the upgrade I cant access the "drives" on my P900 anymore and are also having trouble getting my

dongle to recognize what phone it is)
Got an answer from

-> please disable firewall and antivirus and try again... Doh!

like I hadn't tried that yet, so now I'm in for another 24 hrs of waiting for the next reply. God damn their e-mailservice is slow.. I'm actually considering calling them
Pondering if it's possible to do a downgrade - it was working nicely before the last update (except for rebooting once in a while)... still not anybody else having the same problem?! (except for those of you who've fixed it already.)

@Homer -
It sounds like you need a service pack upgrade. Your issue is definately browser related and it has nothing to do with the website.
@....-
Don't fall into SE's customer service trap and expect to get help from them. You will not get any answers from them. You have better luck on the boards bro. I would suggest that you format your phone and upgrade it on a different computer this time. There may be some variable (ie software on your pc, etc.) added to it since the last upgrade that is causing this blunder. Again, you're more liable to see your answer tatooed the left ass cheek of a flying pink pig before you get an reliable answer from SE support.

Hello All,
I seem to be having the same problem that once I upgraded, I can no longer browse the drives on the computer. Is anyone out there closer to getting an answer from SE about this? I guess they would have to release a maintanence patch to fix this or something. It is quite annoying though.
Another thing. Is it possible to have replies to posts sent via email so that one does not have to search for answers to posts?

Still crashing..
My P900 died on me yesterday. For no obvious reason it suddenly got stuck in the clock screensaver. Showed time, but no buttons could wake it up. Incoming calls worked though, but the display was only "clock". I opened the flip and still had the big black time display on screen. Could not turn the phone off, and had to take the battery out - and it still displayed the clock! After some time the clock faded away, and when I reinstalled the battery the P900 woke up and seemed to have forgotten everything about it's little dropout.
I have the newest firmware on my phone, R3A06.
