dunno, it was a lucky shot I guess. I got zero for my first few, then mostly 400's and a couple of 500's and all I can get now is high 400's.
I've sent it to my kids at home so thanks for that and I'll practice some more tonight

ok, got 593.5 a few more times again.
it seems its just a matter of getting the angle right so that the pingu comes down and can skim across the surface. If you hit it too high he comes down face in the snow and if you hit him too low then he skims a bit but not far.
