i thought the topic strter was referring to the
http://mobile.esato.com forum, right?
That one works fine for me, even over the past few days.
Are you sure it is not a provider-imposed restriction of some kind?

I am not really sure - that was the point of this thread!
I have read in other threads of people having problems with mobile.esato.com, but have never seen a resolution to the problem.
That is what I am after.
Are there any KNOWN problems with the xhtml version of the site?
I HAVE used it fine in the past. The problems seem to have started "recently"

to make things absolutely clear to everybody, perhaps we should al refer to the different forum versions in the same way. I propose:
PC forum for the web version
WML forum for the WML version
XHTML forum for the 'stripped down xhtml forum accessible by T300 and the likes
LITE forum for the 'full' mobile forum version
mwright, you are talking aboput the 'lite' forum, yes?

yes
'lite' in some ppl's terminology
Because there is another xhtml version (much ;like the wml version but slightly poorer) which apparently is also causing problems.....
anyway.... just tested
http://mobile.esato.com and it's fine for me. No problems at all

OK - I have just tried "Esato forum HTML light" from the main
http://wap.esato.com site.
I get "There is something wrong with the page you tried to access. Try another link"
This from a T610 on R1L

However -
If I follow the WAP/WML link there and select the XHTML option, that appears to work (takes me to
http://wap.esato.com/board/xhtml.php)
BUT, if I follow enough links from there eventually I get the same message!
