Yeah, I started a new thread approx 2 weeks ago where folks could identify where they could get their T610 flashed. There seems to be loads of us out there who want these Vodaphone Live versions changed to the original se version but had no response. Any ideas / takers????
My problem is that my nearest se service centre is 30 miles away and I could do with somebody in a 10-20 mile radius

Anyone know anywhere either near Heathrow or in Switzerland (Zurich) Where I can get my phone flashed??? Also if I get my phone flashed in Switzerland will it effect the language settings in anyway.
Cheers,
Dave

I believe there is a se service centre near Slough - I found the details approx a year ago by phoning the se helpline on my warrenty details. At the time I was wanting to flash T68M to T68i, however, my local CPW centre did it free in the end.
Best to give em a call

I think the people who likes the unbranding and unlocking least is the brand.
In sweden they say that you break a contract if you unlock the phone before the binding is over...

Well i ''LOST' my t610 on voda and thery replaced it on the insurance. The new one is a more recent sw version that let me delete almost everything off it. The only thing is that it still has the voda live button on. but i can live with that. It was the undeletable pics and stuff that did my head in before.

You can request specific language packs when you have your phone flashed at SE service centres. You just tell them you want the same languages as before. But English is on every language pack out there, if I am not mistaken. I have had Swedish, Spanish, German, Greek and various other different languages flashed onto my phones at various times.

Good news - I've today found somewhere who will unlock & flash my phone back to the original se firmware for £25. It's going in tomorrow to be done!
The more we protest to suppliers and retailers about the network branding the nearer we get to the message hitting home. In my opinion it's miss selling....the demo phone I was shown in the shop was totally different to my T610 Voda Live as far as I'm concerned.
SE should not allow it to happen!
