@ mobman

have the same prob and triede as you sugested with the multimedia volume but even though I increase or decrase the multimedia volume it does not affect the ringtone volume in "preview" mode....any suggestions???

To the rest, i just think this is a little bug with the volumes...a solution
i've found is just to create my own sounds and boost the amplitude in
cool edit...now called adobe audition.

This i presume, or hope, will be fixed in a firmware update.
