To be honest I think it works just fine the way it is.

I have many times come back to the same thread and then only the last post(s) are intresting to me and you want to get to the end of the thread quick!
I think the best would be if you automatically jump to the lasy post of a thread if you're on wap and read it before. Perhaps it would be good to limit this to long threads, e.g. with 50 or more posts.
I dont think anyone will read through all 57 posts of a thread on wap anyway
Just my idea. What doya think?

I usually just bookmark the last post i've read and continue on from there. Not much of a hassle and you can load it straight away without having to locate the thread first.

I can cite quite a few 'first posts' as well but that's because 'click here to see
your post' actually directs you to the first post of the thread
