> :se: T68i v/s Nokia 3100

Brother, the 68i has a 256 color display. The nokia has 4096 colors. The SE has 101*80 size. The nokia has 128*128 size. Definately the nokia has a richer display The SE display is old story. Ok now, the SE has bluetooth. The nokia has only ir. I guess the looks and connectivity is the only advantage in SE. The nokia has poly, java. Another phone worth considering is the t230. Much better and cheaper the MCA30 IS MUCH BETTER. oNLY IT DOES not have java but mophun is good. 230 does not have ir. 32 chord poly

you'll need wap access or data cable to do your tinkering.
i was very impressed with the n3100 as a low end phone... better then the t226 and t300/310. IMHO
It got that cool pulsating light stuff too. and the ringers are loud.. only 16 poly i think.
all the ericsson have the pulsating lights too but they are built within the ringtone and not a phone function.

and i'm 100% my dad's doesn't have irda either.
but mines a North American version 850/1800/1900
the europe version is 900/1800/1900
but there is also a n3108 that may have irda

I would say the 230 is a better choice. Muah cheaper about 2500! It has polys(more chords) same no of colors. No ir. Mophun, mms, gprs etc. Resolution(screen size) little less

lots of users say its a kewl fone but some say it has a cracky shady software which hangs at times ....
the only pros i see are the large display and zingy flashy glowing cover, and java...... memory is around 700+ kb which is less than the t68i 1 MB..

Relax. As you know se's have been more reliable. Both phones have almost same use memory. The 68i has around 500 kb user mem. Hey why don't you wanna consider the 230
