I am not happy
with my T39, lots of problems.

Mine came with R4A as well and I too have problems with site whth much graphics, like the logopage here. I also have problems with standbytime after i've used my palm to surf, it shows way too low. And, yes, I shut down both IR and GPRS.

There are some users here who reported unstable usage after the upgrade.
I would recommend that you do a master reset,
but only after you backed-up your phone!!! (Don't say I didnt warn you on this, a reset will erase all your data. So follow the procedures properly.)

Not that Im unhappy with my t39m, just that it restarts much too often. It happens once in a while, should be none in my opinion.
And for standbytime, I just turn it off and turn it back on and it's fixed, maybe it's just one of those easy bugs.

I only experience re-starts on two instances:
a) during GPRS connections - while WAPping from the phone or while connected to a PC/PDA
b) while typing SMS messages - i think this is an old problem. after composing (and sending) several SMS, the phone will just suddenly re-start.
My FW is R4A008, and HW is R1B. (I used to have R2G, and never experienced instance "a" before the upgrade to my current FW version)

i've had the same problem whether it's IrDA (on my notebook) or via Cable! Did you notice that the reset usually happens when you're getting a big amount of data (like having several web sites open)?
