Hi,
Even I had the same problem, its queit different, Iam able to send and recv files, but only for the first time and when I try to send files again, it stops in between and does nothing, it doesnt even give me any erro message,
I just made a work around suggetion myself, I just go to IR settings and change the speed settings and close the settings and transfer again, it works, but the problem is I have to do this everytime I want send a new file or recv a new file,
Does anyone has any suggestions regarding this, I use Windows 98 and Mob is Phillips 530

I would suspect the IR adapter may be defective. Try using it on another computer and see if it has the same problem. If same problem, then hardware defect.
