I had loads of problesm with My T68m's so I know what u mean.

Button probs - some didn't work
Joystick probs on two - kept skipping ect.
Slide button broke on one & sw died on another
Freezing in WAP to

Got a t68i now seems ok so far but the screen isn't quite as good as the m's but feels better built overall.

Oh and yes i've seen the line you have described on several of my previous m's - think this must be quite common and didn't bother me too much

Get it changed if i were u - i've done it enough.

Hope you sort it.

Ed

This has got to be the motherload of all complaints for the T68

No complaint here so far with R2D005 upgrade.

Your fourth replacement? Where you able to see the phone being replaced by a new one fresh from the box or do they go away and come back with a new unit? *cough* Master Reset * cough* (Maybe I'm just paranoid )

I've had quite a few phones and I've never REALLY had any problems.... Ok I agree that some things should be better and could improve, but I feel some people here specifically go LOOKING for problems.... You can't say there are problems cos it's an Ericsson or a Nokia, I have had LOADS of Nokia's and NEVER had a problem. The T28 had loads of problems, but then the 388, 628, 688 and 888 NEVER gave me a problem EVER and I dropped them, kicked them, threw them at people!!!!

Oh dear!!

You really are not having much luck with are ya?? Sorry to hear of ur troubles. Ive had 2 T68m 's now and not a single problem with the both of them. They both work prefectly. Ive sold one now so got just the one.

Ive dropped it once onto the floor in the gym changing rooms (tiles!!!) and it still worked fine.. i mean that it didnt break apart or even switch itself off. My phone is on 24/7 and yes i do make quite a few phone calls on it too, more then the average user.

I have to say that Im well pleased with the phone and carnt wait to upgrade to a T68i with MMS!! YAY

I hope you get your phone sorted out there mate, Id seriously make sure (by sight) that you ARE getting a brand new phone.. just seems sooooo odd that you have had a few different phones.. ALL with the same kinda probs!!! Dont ya think?

Good luck anyway m8..

Hmmm.. Don't know about looking for problems but if you mean getting a brand new phone and buttons not working on it or slide button not working or phone crashing and refusing to work on me then I guess I've been looking for them. hehe

Anyway I REFUSE to ever admit that there is another problem with my new T68i - I just could'nt bear it!

Mr Noodles> how's it going with your T68i? You got it replace eventually same as me! Hope to god this works better that the m (godd bless it it was a great phone when it was working!)

Shit man that sucks, I'd do the same as you and see them in court that's getting rediculous. I've had no trouble with my T68m I'm still on software R1B, just waiting for the MMS. Well a little with the joystick not always working, but it's ok now. You've gotta do something, don't let them get away with messing you around, I would've thought that legally they couldn't give you a recon phone as a replacement.

1.Never had that happen to me.
2.Nope
3.Huh? My sound is just perfectly fine here.
4.Never had that happen to me, and I use GPRS everyday with my IPAQ.
5.Umm? The talktime is actually pretty long with that slim battery. Nokia on the other hand has crap battery life and doesn’t even compare to what SE has.
6.Joystick working fine here.
7.I think you broke your phone on that one.
8.My volume control works fine here, although a little stiff.
9.Hmm, nope…
10.Screen is perfectly fine here, sharp too.
11.What do you mean talking time and standby time sucks? Two weeks of battery life not enough for you? 10 hours of talking time still not enough either?

No offense, your phone sucks. You must have bought a used or stolen phone because I for one am having no problems with my phone. I would ask for my money back immediately and buy another phone from a different place. Besides that, when you got your phone replaced, did you watch them replace the phone? I bet it’s the same phone you had and you just believed they switched it
