This company is promising us for more then 7 months already that they will "soon release" a P800 version of their voicemail software.

I wonder if the fact that such answer phone software is not available may be due to the fact that certain networks wouldn't really like it encouraged...
After all, if you were able to do record messages for free, then no-one would have to pay to hear their messages through the standard services as provided...
Ok, so the answer phone call can sometimes be free, depending on the network and availablilty of free minutes, but I feel it is just something they would prefer to stay away from... since the P900 is not only available as sim free, its also on all networks (UK)...
Just a thought, and perhaps reason not to really plan on answer phone software appearing any time soon...
And whilst perhaps it is arguably an infringement on privacy to be able to record telephone conversations... the fact that such submissions are used readily in civil courts, especially family division, doesn't really back up such a theory...

Z5 was the only phone I have used and know that has a build in answering machine. What a lovely little piece it was!!!!!
Technologically this is a simple feature but operators don?t like it as it would eventually render their voice mail investments worthless.
So sad that we are living in such a stupid world. They want to get every penny off. They don?t care about convenience etc.
I guess SE some how blocked the software access to record the data from DAC. If any body hacks this, I am sure some one will, I am the first to install.
Go on guys some one can do it.

I had a Z5 unbranded with Answering Machine... Operator branded Z5, in Italy, hadn't Answering Machine....
But it's hard to see an AM software 4 P900.
SE won't give us possibility to play/record sounds during call.
