yeah, maybe, but I guess that means it would be available later rather than in the package unless they have been testing a version prior to making this agreement.
I guess we'll find out more when they finally start releasing the Z1010! (one day!)

reading through that press release it does say "The RealPlayer for mobile devices is available on Linux, Openwave Phone Tools v7, PalmOS, Series 60, Symbian and WinCE." suggesting it might only be available for the px00 series? As I understand it, the Z1010 doesn't use symbian

If i am correct, the Nokia 6600 uses Real Player for its videos and audio files? Not that i have used a 6600 yet?
Most likely the next PXXX model shall have the player preinstalled, i do not think the current p800/p900 will be changed to used real player.
To be honest, i can't wait to find out what the next big phone SE shall release, (not the z1010). Please hurry SE, Please..........................

I hope that the

phones that will include Real Player have big mem.
The real player version for Nokias' serie 60 is about 1MB in size.
So this is a big nono if future phones have 2/3 MB like T610/Z600.

Real player sucks though!!!
I never used it on my 3650/6600... i always used pvplayer which was 100x better..but if real revamps the player im sure it could be alright. the 3650/6600 verisons did not have a full screen option and could only play .rm or 3gp...they shoud revamp it to play everything..then it woudl be alright.

The next phone with this new technology will probably have a memorystick slot. If not it will have to include a large amount of internal memory and thats expensive for SE. If the consumer wants a larger memory to store videos etc. then they have to buy an external memory in shape of a Memory Stick Duo and thats good for SE!
