Well ive got news for you buster, someone else developed it at around the same time, he just beat them to the punch. Its the same with phones, electricity, soap, and kittens. There are always at least half a dozen people working on similar ideas at any given point, its only natural, after all, to want to expand on an idea.

In the case of the mobile, AT&T were developing them as far back as 1947, which is widely overlooked.
