Once i was on a flight to Dubai, two couples in front of me were all over each other, kissing and cuddling each other for about 6 hrs.

Might sound interesting to all you guys, the only flippin problem was that she had a face like a smacked arse....................

Spoilt my frickin journey.

Does that mean I should get a refund on my ticket then as some ignorant SOB has invaded my space that I have paid for. They should make the chairs fixed so they can't recline. Usually a few well aimed knees in the back and they get the hint.

Just imagine being 6'5 and people infront reclining thier seat.
You are already very cramped, but once the seat goes back, you end up with bruised knees and are wedged in for the next 12 hours.

Not to mention the kids sitting behind you playing with the tray from the first 2 hours of the flight.

the conversation has now turned to airline seat policy rather than being about someone choosing to utilise the seat he has been given.

While I do agree in confined economy cabins some respect should be shown for people around you, unless you are enormous, or trying to eat a meal, I have no problem if the person in front reclines their seat back as I will then do the same to regain some of my space. Often, however, this causes a cascade effect for a few rows!

Not to worry, once the low costers catch onto Ryanair's idea, you won't be able to recline the seat, as it won't be reclinable!

Also, you won't be able to put the window blind down, as there won't be one.
You won't be able to go to the loo, as there won't be one.
You won't be able to take any hold luggage, as there won't be a hold.

10 years from now:

You won't be able to sit down, standing room only, means more people can get in.
You won't be able to buy snacks from the trolly dolly, as there won't be a trolly dolly; just an unneccesary expense, an auto safety video will suffice.

I'll be surprised if Ryanair even use pilots, I mean they're just another expensive and superfulous commodity in Ryanair's opinion.

Hee hee guy in front (tm) complained to the trolley dolly about me beating up his chair. That saw me with a free upgrade to first now in manchester, waiting for a train...

there are no reclining seats on the trains, so if you complain to the ticket collector about the man with the offensive nokia next to you you might get another upgrade. well done on the knee work

@tennents: i am indeed hatching another plan! The facts: a) my battery's nearly dead b) there are power plugs in first class and c) someone with a blokia has "the entertainer" as their ringtone and it's giving me a headache!
Am just thinkin of how to fight my case... And then i'm off into first! woohoo!
