Hi,

Can someone let me know what is the different bt Java Games and Mophun Games? Which one is better? and WHY? Thanks

Mophun games are programmed almost similiar to C++ programming language. This is why they can run much faster and only need to load to be able to work.

Java games, however, are programmed in a secondary language, thereby requiring a sort of "buffer" program to run them. Notice that when you run a Java game, however, the little white Java symbol appears in the top of the screen?

As for which is better, I personally prefer Mophun, but due to the fact that "professionals" develop it (not everyone can), the games are more accurate, have less bugs and run way smoother.

Since anyone who can program in Java language can make a game, we constantly see these crap games which run very choppy and keep messing up. To tell you the truth, the only Java games that I have seen that run smoothly are gotten through your carrier's "zones, mode, or whatever they call your internet on your phone".

Since you didn't know the difference between Java and Mophun, just so you know, Java games (when saved on your PC) are .jar files, and this is all you need to load. If you get a .jad file, this is the game AND installation files.

Mophun games are .mpn files, and can sometimes have multilple files. Just send them all to your phone and it will automatically put them together correctly.

Finally, Mophun games are saved in "Other Games" and Java games are saved under "Games and More", both found under the "Entertainment" section.
