hello !
i havent had any problems with my T68! at least up until this writing, on which i have my unit for 6 months already. intermittent power on and off? that happens also to all the computers here in the office, which i think is an inherent character of a computer-run unit. hanging-up of the OS? those things definitely happen to computers also, so i dont consider that a defect of another similarly computer-based item like a T68 (i'm not talking about a t68 hanging up or turning off by itself 20-times a day! in that case... it IS a defective unit!).

and i know a lot more satisfied T68 owners around.

have a nice day!

by the way..... that's right, they should have given you at least an equal type of unit, if not the same, for your T68.

Wait a minute. Isn't the store obliged by consumer rights laws to give you a replacement phone (while T68i is in service) that is equivalent to the phone in service? For example T68m or Nokia 8310?

Sorry but no, they arent obliged to give you a replacement phone while yours is away. Some stores does it as "goodwill".

Yes, Mr noddles have right -they give you a phone only on goodwill, read the warranty rules.
If you had the same flaw 3 times under the warranty period you can demand a new unit or money back.

According to serveral Stores I spoken with here in Sweden itīs the 4th time (tehy says its :se policy, nice to know that thinks they are above KKL and more.), the same flaw occures, you can demand a new phone or money back.

Quite interesting though is that Swedish Consumer Laws (And I do believe that they are for more than Sweden) says that the 3rd time you get an error, not sure if it has to be the same error all time even - You can return your phone, claim money back etc.

Dont let them get you!!

Its had loads of problems since I bought it, but as I live so far away from the store (and the service centre) I cant just go and sort it out. Its been to Celestica in Telford, they sent it back with a software update, but didnt include a repair sheet telling me what the other problems were, and just as I thought my lovely state of the art T68 would work correctly, it completely cocks up and deletes my whole phonebook! Not happy........

I was given a Siemens C25, when i turned my T68m into the service point. For the 3. time, but with a new problem every time. One week later it came back! But the problems wasn't over. So I made a complaint and have recieved a T68i today instead of my T68m
