@madmilkmn
If you even have the slightest temptetion to get Noookia 7650 just because it has a slighty better camera than T610, then get yourself a P900! Much, MUCH better cam!!! Not even to mentioned the videorecording quality - 7650 is like a kiddo infront of P900.

On the other hand, if money is the issue and therefore you look back to older 'smartphones', then still, get yourself a P800!...

PS. Who would ever want that ugly blob called 7650! Sooner or later you'll be holding it against other people's phones and you'll be damning every hour of your life! It is a REALLY ugly phone man. It looks like a Finish remote control for seniors... BLIAH!!!...

The 7650 has a VGA cam (480x640) while the T610 has a CIF cam (288x355).The T610 has 2 MB shared memory while the 7650 has a little over 3 MB.
He can't have the T610 cuz he has no money.Still has to find 200$ for the 7650.

Despite what a lot of the Sony Ericsson zealots on here might say, the 7650 is a fantastic phone, and excells by miles over the T68i and T610 in nearly all areas of functionality, apart from Bluetooth headset compatibility.

Not surprising, since it's a full Series 60 smartphone.

The only thing letting it down is size and weight; it's a bit on the porky side.

The camera is light years better than the T610's pathetic excuse for one.

It has brilliant looks as well in my opinion. In fact, the only thing that held me back from buying one was that it doesn't have a memory expansion facility.

I'm still waiting for a nice, small, good-looking Series 60 phone (Sendo X maybe?).
Until then, my T610 will have to do.

In a time where phones get smaller and smaller, size is always one of the 'top 3 factors' for makers and buyers, and you mention that size is the ONLY problem? Because if size didn't matter, then we could have been having phones right now in the size of a brick, which would feature for example 3 megapixel cam shots (or more), proper videorecording at 320x240 pixels (minimum), extended multimedia and handeld-pc capabilities, etc. Size IS the problem with this phone and that takes it to the bottom right away!

PS. You might add "How about P800's and P900's size?". Well, the answer is plain and simple: Touch-screen & memory-card slot!

What are you on about?

I quite clearly said that the 7650 is a large phone. Never said that size wasn't important.

And if you go on your silly premise that large size = "straight to the bottom", then where must the bigger P800/900 be?

The fact remains that the 7650 is a very good phone, especially for its time. No amount of mindless Sony Ericsson zealotry can change that.

The SE T610 is slightly better in terms of cam. quality coz the cam in the N7650 sucks.

No way. That camera is pretty good, and the specifications make that camera better than the T610/T616.

I have used several 7650 and the camera is pretty good, even in the dark. The videoclips in my opinion (with sound) are also really good. You can actually use pics of the 7650 to show them to people. My T610 pics most of the time are useless.

OK, I don't own a T610 but I own a Z600. I guess the cam quality is almost the same. I am comparing the Z600 pic quality and N7650 pic quality, cos I own a N7650 too.

The N7650 quality is way better than the Z600 pic quality, it doesn;t matter whether it's being viewed in the phone or in the PC, the N7650 pic quality much clearer than the Z600 pic quality.

So to answer the topic of this thread, I would say the N7650's pic quality is very good, much better than the Z600.

OT a bit here:
I own a P800 too. The pic quality is as follows:

1. N7650
2. P800
3. Z600

with N7650 giving the best pic quality.

I know this is a SE forum, I love SE but I'm just stating my findings. So please don't flame me.

Cheers!
