after I recieved it!
As for the Finland reference... perhaos everybody gets this? maybe the whole IMEI thing simply was originally Finnish?

mine was finland too,this is why i guess..
China can make cell phones. So can Korea and the United States. But, unknown to most, the largest manufacturer of cell phones in the world is Finland, the motherland of Nokia. Fact is, this country that is only slightly larger than Malaysia has quite a number of "bestsellers'' under its belt - remarkable given its rather scarce natural resources.

mmm what's so difficult to understand...it says it was manufactured before Jan 2003....then it could have been any time before that...it's not ont hat date...:-S
