Edit your Preferences at the top of the screen and change the avatar to T610. It will become more visible as you post more

If your sim card has been activated it should show the carrier at the top of the screen. If it dosnt you need to contact your provider and have them activate the sim for you. The only time it comes activated from my experience is from the dealers store and not in the mail.

Mistery solved. My SIM wasn't activated, it did show the carrier on the standby screen though.
Now the SIM is activated, I can see my number in the "status" page, also i can see it in "Phonebook>Special number>my number", another way is to press *686 then Send (works for T-moibleUSA). Thanks everyone.
