I am a current owner of a T616, but I fell in love with this PHONE! Sorry I think I'm going to betray you! oh well, no hard feelings. When you decide to come out with top of the line phones fast, rather than 6 months from now, I'll come back to you!

Pitty that Siemens copie from old SE models.

To diddy0071 why you betray SE,you know that Se far more supurieur is,than Siemens.

Take a look al the new Siemens models, there look like all most the same old model from the SE T68i and T-telmy and the some motorola models, all those manufacter is copie's SE succes models and that is not fair.

i can remenber me,when many people's say's that SE is Ugly and now many manufactor copy the best SE models.

Who is agree with me??

The S65 is based on the e100 mobile phone platform developed by Ericsson Mobile Platforms - a subsidiary of Ericsson. This platform is, guess what, also used by Sony Ericsson for their K700.

Siemens is not copying SE as such, it is merely a customer licensing EMP E-100 design as is Sony Ericsson.

I would be surpised if the S65 came out at the same time as as the K700.

SE will have rushed the K700 to market to build market share and I would guess that they will launch an upgraded hand set with 1MP and removable storage late this year.

Bet you the S65 is not in the shops before September

Are you sure that it uses the E100 platform? I thought that E100 is an EDGE platform (used from Z500).

A nice looking phone but two big things to note. 1. It does not have a built-in flash - who the hell buys a 1.3MP camera without a flash? 2. This phone will at best be out i 3Q - at that time SE will have something similar. I really think SE uses a smarter marketing strategy by not introducing phones that compete with each other at the same time.
