> GSM: coverage in Alaska?

i have a se t610 and was recently in alaska and had fairly good coverage in anchorage, but only in anchorage.. there didn't seem to be coverage anywhere else. being that the phone is gsm 1900, 1800, and 900 i can only assume that yes, to a limited extent, there is gsm 1900 coverage in alaska. an interesting note: the service provider was "US 430" whatever that means.
