so what's the point if you are going to get stuck with a picture you can't see in the end? I mean what if you no longer want a pic? How will you delete it?

The people who jocked with this trick are so f..... Ignorant! Did you read it? The sole purpose of this trick is removing the thumbnails of caller photos from the images folder, while they will still appear when the contacts call. For people with lots of photos assigned to contacts it becomes difficult to browse that folder to search the "normal" photos, gifs or walpapers This message was posted from a T610

Well, I'm thinking that if at a later date you really want to delete these pictures, all you have to do is erase their links to their contacts. Like Arez said, it makes the browsing of other pictures much easier when you have lots of pictures for your contacts, and the pictures of your contacts still appear when you get calls from them (with the exception of blocked numbers). Of course, that means that if you do this, and then unlink the pictures from their contacts, then you lose said pictures for good. If you do not want to lose those pictures, then just don't erase them from your Pictures folder.
This was a trick that Arez posted, and like everything else, if you don't want to do it, then, well.....
Don't.

Rotate the picture 90 degrees. I don't think the T3xx can do this, Ayush. This message was posted from a T300

This may be useful for the T610, why not just create a new folder for contact pictures on the K700i?

on another note, I'd assume you would simply delete the pic by going into the contact's entry after it had been magically "re-installed"
