Oh lovley, is it possibel to get one in the UK? it is a 2.5 plug to 3.5 socket isnt it? I need one!

nothing like that, I did previously get a little stud type adaptor from
pachy which works very well, but as he says, sticks out the side a bit

I bought a "Retractable Audio / Headset Adapter" from
www.pc-mobile.net and it worked OK for a while, but the cable is cheap, especially the insulation - which has worn away near the junction with the microphone and now does not work. I bought it just a few months ago, but unfortunately have taken it apart to try to repair it (thereby invalidating any warranty/consumer rights). I'm not impressed with the build quality, considering this costs about £20!
