Ahhh!! i see now! i always wondered what the "daylight saving" was i had the problem again today when i manually changed the time. should be ok now, thanx for the help!!!
And yes, i had to work on Sunday

why the summertime tab doesn't work for me? i tick it but my clock doesn't change!

i clicked it by the clock and straight away the time went an hour foward! Its not too much of a big deal as the times only change a couple of times a year!!

it is a big deal for me coz the difference in timing between my country and others r all mess out!for ex Egypt is now 1 hour ahead from me which of course it is not TRUE!

changed my p900 clock manually, but didnt click the summertime tab, and the phone switched back time last night and it was only the radio that stopped me from being late

Must be why i've never had to amend my clock on my phone when travelling to the US
In any case... when adjusting the phone clock but NOT the summertime (=daylight saving) there is a chance the phone will compare it's clock and settings to the network clock..... network clock says it's 08.00PM GMT + 1 hr daylight saving whereas phone says it's 09.00PM GMT and NO daylight saving....... phone continues to think along this pattern: according to network it is 08.00PM GMT... I must amend 1 hour.
Therefore always use the 'summertime' (= 'daylight saving') option on the phone. It uses 'wintertime' as it's basis for reference.

have you set you country location in control panel - international correctly as I suspect it would use that information to know if you are Europe, Northern Zone or Southern Zone
