i find the key thing with the p900 camera is to keep the lens clean from dust, just a small bit of dirt on the lens can make any photo look naff but im pleased with mine, with the right light i have taken some fantastic photos with my p900 i think it is more than acceptable for a phone camera,

you dont hear me moaning that my digital camera doesnt make phone calls!!!!

I recall someone posting about PhotoFusion recently. might be worth checking out

Tried it. It's not that good. Also, I could't uninstall the program on my P900. Any suggestions?

SE absolutely sucks when cameras are concerned - that is compared to nokia cameraphones (7650, 3650, 3660, 6600)

And don't go telling people that because it's a phone's camera, it need not be that good - if nokias can do it so should SE. I mean for a phone as big as the P900/P800 and considering Sony is known for their Cybershot line of digicams, they should have installed a good quality camera into it.

Anyway, P900/P800 produces good quality images under bright sunlight. Other than that, it really sucks.

fair point and for the price they charge they could have at least used a carl zeiss lens as they do with all their cameras and camcorders if not a slightly better CCD.

just a word about Photo Fusion. Anyone saying it's not a good program must not know how to use it properly. it is an EXCELLENT program. one of the best i've found for the P900. And the picture really do look better than the default communicorder. i don't know how though, but it's better. and the panoramic picture are really cool. also, you've got a 4x digital zoom, which like all digital zooms isn't great, but it gets the job done. and you've got some other cool options as well. This is one cool program. Here's a pic of me i took with it...

When using Photo Fusion software... are you able to take pictures while you have enabled zoom or is the zoom option just for viewing purposes???

What is the quality like when in low light conditions???

Cheerz
