It did say that you have to have the new one, but I tried with the old PC Suite and it worked.

I have installed the new version and I am restoring the backup now. Everythings seems to be working fine.

I've used the update service 2/3 times before without a hitch. However I when I try to get the latest version, I keep getting the following message:
Your device is not permitted to use this service
Your operator does not approve the usage of this service for this device.

Yes it was originally a Vodafone branded phone. But as I couldn't use the update service, I got it flashed at a SE service centre. Since then I've done 2 or 3 updates with no problems at all,except for this update which refuses to work
I'm using R4A06 on CDA 162003/5. Originally 162004/8 on Vodafone I believe.

I am trying to update but I am having the following problem. When finish the download ask me turned OFF the phone on and put it to the SyncroStation. After my telephone go ON and OFF and ask me if I am sure to continue without backup or syncronize. I hit Yes to preceed and after a while I am taking the message "Communication Error with the device". Can anyone help me with that? I have 2 Computers and 2 P900 and I have the some problem to both of them. I am using windows XP SP1 and the latest programs from SE 2.3.1. My firmware now is CDA 162003/4 R4A04 - PDA CXC162021 R4A06. Any HELP??

Well all went well, cant see much change yet, I'm sure it will be a noticeable imporvement during the week.
How do I get rid of the demo they put on? (Completley delete it)
@princedom sorry cant think of much, maybe cleen the contacts or something (I asume it connects ok for syncing etc?) Sorry I'm no help.
