Even though the t630 looks good, I recommend the z600.

The t630 may be simpler to use in life but whenever you open up the z600 it just has to bring a smile to the owner's face. Just on a sidenote i switched from an 8910i to a z600 and aint regrettin... much.

Also remember that the z500 is only for the NAM market.

I was just going to post this as a topic as I am looking for a new phone and also can't decide between a T630 or a Z600. I always used to have clamshell phones, and I think I prefer them (not sure why, just slightly prefer them) but a couple people have said the Z600 is bulky. Currently I have a T68i and like how its small (I hate having big things in my pockets)
So I take it that there really is almost no difference between the two? had a look at the comparison someone above posted and apart from dimensions they both seem identical. Probably will just come down to price, but I think even the price at the moment is almost the same.
Unless anyone can recommend any other phones? (always had an Ericsson/SE phone, so don't know what others are like) I don't care about a camera/radio/mp3/video but I do want bluetooth and tri-band (that is the 1 reason I stopped looking at Z200's)

@ tranquil
hehehe...I'd def choose the z600 in a heartbeat. Thing is, it's also twice the price (that $200 cheaper thing? Yeah, well the new promo now puts the t630 at about half of what the z600 is going for).
I guess I was just trying to get a couple of opinions to justify the extra $$ for the z600. From what I've read in reviews and all that, both models seem like good phones, which makes it harder to choose.
@gforce23
urgh. yeah, darn...missed that. thanks.
@blahx4
hey, looks like we're in the same boat. I'm looking for something to take over my t68i now too! =P
I went down to the shop to fondle the z600 for a while the other day(mmmm, yeah baby!). She's actually quite nice and the horror stories that I've heard about her "waistline" are pretty much unwarranted. The numbers seem scary(28mm), but when I plonked her next to my t68i the thickness differential was quite negligable.
I'd really suggest copping a feel of her yerself...=)
Too bad the z600 doesn't have a radio though....=(

The Z600 is kinda the same as the T630. Go for the cheapest solution. (T630)
Btw if you wanna clamshell The Motorolla V500 is cheaper then the Z600 with better specs.

@dimitrivd: I just had a look and saw a Motorola V525, is that the same phone as the V500? But a slightly different version, spec is better than a Z600 only thing is the antenna might bother me. Does anyone know how good Motorola's are?

Motorola is a good phone, I looked at the Motorolas before I decided on the z600 about a month ago. Like you mentioned, I hate the external antenna, had a motorola v60 before and broke so many antennas on that (probably 4 in a year). I like everything about my z600, though I wished it had two more things for me to make it a prefect ten:
1) FM Radio
2) Speaker Phone.
Still, I'm a happy camper.
