I got my P800 from Ebay without a problem - but looking back I'm not sure it was worth the risk I paid £400 into some stranger's bank account. What was I supposed to do if he didn't supply the phone, sue him ? Send some heavies around ??? I wanted to buy and iPod on Ebay and almost lost my shirt to a scammer recently. I'm becoming more cautious about ebay recently.

it HAS to be a scam. why would someone sell a p900 for much less than its value ?

if it seems too good to be true, it usually is.

I agree, but would still like to take a look at the specific auction in question

ironpinoy...personally i think its not worth the risk.

if u can afford it, why not simply purchase a brand new unit from an authorised dealer. At least u know that your p900 is covered with warranty and knowing that 100% u won't end up being a sucker...

I bought a p900 on ebay about a month ago. Looked genuine, seller had 99% feedback off 40+ items, had positive feedback from people who had bought a p900, so i thought, why not. £350 on buy it now.

Only problem was i never got the phone, no refund, no reply to numerous emails, phone never swithed on. Now the seller is banned, as he has probably ripped some1 else off.

I was more than pissed, not cos i can only get £105 back from the buyer protection, but cos i wanted the phone so much.

There are a few genuine p900 sellers, but its best buying it retail, as whats another £100 to ensure you actually get one, and you have it straight away.
