In order to use Skype for Pocket PC, your handheld must meet the following minimum system requirements:
Windows Mobile 2003 for Pocket PC
400 MHz processor
WiFi-enabled
Now that is for pocket-pc... there wont be one for Symbian, look at these specs and thing P-series... I'm afraid we have no chance of ever seeing this on P800/P900/P910.
Lowest cpu in mhz that I see on skype is 400Mhz and we have 156Mhz... still no go.
No WiFi so no it wont work over GPRS or 3G.
I would never want an MS product in my phone (even though I love Windows XP Professional =) ). Porting for Symbian would cost probably cost a lot of money.
Just porting a c/c++ prog from windows to linux can be hell. =)
