george bush: very high on arrogance, extremely low on IQ, and deeply entrenched in an obsolete mindset, but head of the last remaining superpower. a very dangerous combination...

Whats with all the anti usa shit! All u guys ever post is hatred towards Bush. If u hate the usa so much, why dont u f* off to iraq and fight against them instead of being all mouth on a forum u can hide behind. I tried to take this thread away from iraq but u cant help urselves can u. Try to think of the 4 dead us soldiers that were strung up from a bridge in iraq, and the ABC journalist thats bin kidnapped,or is that Bush's fault too! This message was posted from a T610

@boyi who went to iraq? My personal opinion is against the politic of the us government, not against the nation. Cant remenber also, that the iraq asked bush to remove saddam. This message was posted from a R520

I have nothing whatsoever against the American people either - but I have to admit that some of their foreign policy stinks! The impression I get is that they think that everyone else in the world loves them and what they stand for. As it is, what the US stands for - freedom of choice, expression, and freedom from persecution for your personal/political views is certainly what other nations should be looking up to and is admirable - but the US shouldn't be 'forcing' themselves and their beliefs on everyone else by military force - no matter how honourable those views are. With the US being a hyperpower, with no second power to balance it, it is in a position it can potentially abuse.

I've heard people say as well that Bush Jr. wanted to finish off the job his father didn't in 1991 - I'm not sure of that, juries out on that one!!

Gulf War I was a 'good' (if I could use such a word!) war, it had a reason and rationale. We should have nailed Saddam then. We didn't, our mistake, but we didn't need a sequel to it! Gulf War II, like most sequels, was rubbish and totally unnessecary. Please US, don't make it a trilogy with Gulf War III!

i would be really interested, how the us members here think of this iraq story. they are closer personally to thi problem, would be nice to here a report from there. think, they see it from another point of view. dont mean, they like and accept the situation, but how they feel and think about the anti-us movements all around the world. its a thin limit between the politic and personality. when we blame their country, they could feel blaming them. even its not the case, hard to hear and read bad words of the own country.

I am from the US... here are my 2 cents:

The US should get the hell out of Iraq. It is my opinion that we have NO business there, and WE (as a force in Iraq, not me personally) are the terrorists in this case. Every time an American gets killed in Iraq, I just shake my head and go about my business. I feel sorry for the individuals in Iraq - the military and civilian personnel - but as a force, the Americans in Iraq deserve what they get, which will most likely be a shotgun (or in this case an automatic assault rifle) up the ass.

It makes me angry that Americans do not see the error in the foreign policy of the US and the Bush Administration. That, and Americans in general are blood thirsty. As long as a fight is in the name of Democracy, it is ok, no matter what happens. (Or, that is what is generally accepted anyway.)

It makes me sick.

I am venting here, but this is the basis for how I feel. I believe G.W. Bush got a hard-on when he invaded Iraq. I believe that Iraq had very little if not nothing to do with the events on Sept. 11th. I believe G.W. Bush just wanted an excuse to invade and finish what his daddy started. I believe that bastard (G.W.B.) is a liar and a cheat and I believe he should be taken out of office immediately.

I am not Anti-US, but anti-US Government and Anti-Bush Administration. I see the US as the rotting corpse of freedom: you can still see it, but it is so degraded that it isn't what it once was. We've got it good, but we're killing ourselves.

Of course, I'd be called a traitor in some social circles.
