Why is there so much God damn secrecy with regard to the release of this phone? SE Eshop in the UK are saying sometime this year, no date, no quarter indiacation, nothing. 3 don't acknowledge the phone, probably because it is non-GPS, which is one of their value services, hence it is not on their release schedule. (The LG to be released on 3 is the U8100 with GPS, hence U8110, so maybe they will incorporate GPS in the Z1010i)

The phone itself is a great feat, no doubt, but all the things shouted about on its announcement are now old hat or not present. 65K colour screen I want 200K plus, 65K is for the external screen now, Memory Stick Duo, great but we want the Pro version now and camera, well at least 1.3 mega pixel with a flash, 20M BT is better than 10M but nothing compared to the 100M they initially said, 144g instead of 115g. So in real terms it has got worse Accepted it will still be a great piece of equipment whatever the size and weight, but I imagine it will be superceded by a new SE model within months. I feel the Z1010 is a 3G guinea pig for SE, and once they are sure they have a model that works well and is reliable, they will improve it with the latest Cellular fads and release a new model. No bad thing, SE bring it on!!!

It will sound great and the battery life seems to be very good so sorry to sound so pessimistic, but that is life. I hope they release it soon and I will be one of the first on the Z1010 bandwagon!!!

i just got told from 3 in sydney australia that the z1010 wont be out till july !!! and i think 3 launch there phones altogether world wide!!

lol. Its also the name of a 3g network that operate in the uk and other countries. They are far from what we expect of mobile service in the uk. Back to the thread. Z1010 is to out of date now. It had good specs for when it was announced. But technology moves on so fast. It will still be a good base hamdset to enjoy 3g services on. This message was posted from a Nokia

I really don't know which one to get, but this one sounds great because it has all the features of the P900, the only thing I'd miss is the built in speaker.

Please help....

Am I also right in saying that this phone has dual band, thus meaning, that it won't work in America, or am I just mistaken, also it seems pretty big, but I suppose compared with the P900 it isn't that big!

The Nokia's already been replaced by my Moto A835, which after 6 weeks has started to f**k up worse than my Nokia. I only use the 7210 for wap and when my 3 fone goes down, ie every half hour. This message was posted from a Nokia

it depends on what u want with the phones! p900 is probably the better phone if u have the money because it is like a mini personal computer. you cand download apps,themes, browse the real internet, get games and applications to suit ur needs, it isfast but unfortunately a box that is quite big (no style compared to p800 ). Quite expensive but if u have the money then id wait for an se s700 - and get a t610 for now. the z1010 are ok but i was gonna get one but now i am savin for the s700. the z1010 is more of a z600 with a few extras (a couple more grams have been added to!
