> Where to get cheap phone batteries?
Bookmark topic
I think cheap batteries are good replacements for the original ones. I pay maximum 18 euro for a non-se battery that keeps me going for just 2 days ( instead of 2,5 days original one).Never had a problem .The other inconvenience of non-originals is that they give up easier ...after 8-10 months (they have at least 6 months warranty)instead of 12-14 .
BUT it's worth it VERY much.
PS: Only nokias explode.

It's ironic since the original poster is located in HongKong, paradise for better quality after-market batteries and accessories at low low prices. Anything cheaper sold elsewhere would be garbage.
Regarding non-OEM batteries, I spent a total of several hours waiting at a SE service centre, and saw many people bringing in damaged phones caused by non-OEM batteries. So it's hard to tell whether your cheap battery is a good buy or not. Some of these batteries are made by the same factories as OEMs and indeed identical. Some may be 2nd quality rejects. Some maybe just cheap knockoffs with who-knows-what components.
