You cant upgrade the phone by yourself. You have to go to your loca service sentre and ask them to do the upgrade.

i have tried to go to a service center in my area to upgrade the FW of my T610 but they won't do it because according to them, there's no wrong with my phone. they will only do what i want if i will have a serious problem with my phone. so, i have nothing to do but to leave. im still using the most basic FW which is R1.
