you have make a new data account, with the apn "internet", and then a new wap profile that uses that data account. Then you have to activate this wap profile everytime you want to use those apps

they both function perfectly over my normal gprs connection

which i also use for wap browsing.

It depends on his provider. Some wap gateways will allow this.
If not an internet apn/gateway will be neeed
