@Pimp800
I certainly misundestood your problem and hence the wrong solution. Right now I don't have a soultion here but it need not be the problem of the speaker (most probabley it would be) it could be that as bengal girl said above the phone might be ''assuming'' that there is a headphone plugged in so as bengal girl said above puting in and taking off the headphone a couple of times jack might solve it. I am not sure but I think it happened to me once on my p800. If that also didn't work I am afraid you might have to take it to the service centre.

PS: We still remember the services provided by you to the community and most of us use SMAN with your 'buttons'

I believe there is no other way, pal, except sending it in for SE to repair. They will probably change the internal speaker unit.

Your problem is usually the result of your phone having a hard knock (either you accidentally dropped it or hit it hard against something...). I know Motorola phones have this common problem but not SE.

In your case, it is really unfortunate. Let SE service centre handle it, pal, and all the best...

Can confirm exactly the same thing occurred to my phone and SE said they needed to have the phone as their was no quick fix.

As it was under warranty they gave me another one in the end.
