There are no pix of the p1000 because they have note done the look! They are developing the indside of the phone! The software etc. And choose what to set in the phone! This message was posted from a T300

Possibly P1000 but if its still vapourware at the end of the year this looks very promising:

Yes its a Moto but its UIQ with a joystick and a sweet spec.

Heard that the 'P1000' is likely to be released at the end of the year.
With 1meg pix camera plus Wifi support and probably other tiny little gadgets to keep us amused!

Is the P900 really that much better than the P800?

I found my old P800 a real problem phone, the main complaint was its dredfull reception when at range from a base station, it was only after I bought it that I found out this problem was a well known fault, & as I really need a phone that actualy works throughout the UK not just city centres (on a good day) I was not a happy bunny (Voda made things very difficult about changing the phone for my T610 as well) add faulty software, bad PC Outlook synching, & very poor spec voice control to the problem plus the fact I am just not prepared to just accept faulty products the old girl just had to go.

Having said all this, I still think the overall concept is a really great idea, the phone just has to be as good or better in its connectivity, range and voice dialing facilities as my existing T610 and comparable in Sync acuracy to my somewhat ancient IPAQ.

Does anyone know if there is anything on the horizon that will meet all these criteria?

i have never had a p800, just the p900 which i had now. so i cant comment on p800. my last phone was a panasonic gd87 and i have to say the picture quality was exellent on it, alot better than the p900 - but p900 is well better - theres no contest
