you should still be able to cancel it and get a refund, but go through you're bank first and then contact visa if the bank won't help. that's what i did when i had a couple of dodgy transactions come up on my visa debit.

I use SMSXtender myself. It works out cheaper than sending a normal text message. One annoying thing is, you have to remember the source and destination numbers of the text as there is no way to access the phonebook once the Java program is up and running.

Simeda, the makers, have developed a new one for Series 60 Nokia phones that lets you select source and destination numbers from the phonebook. Let's hope they develop one for Sony Ericsson soon.

Although sometimes I get a message like "java.IE.exception has occurred" and the message doesn't send. For the most part it worked with my T610 and it works with my K700i. You will need WAP/GPRS settings enabled on your phone for it to work.

Oh and messages are monitored so mind what you say
