the 'contradict' is very nice, but it is the old version of a.c.
i don't know why, but in new version (2) the today's button, far left, down (black arrow & red square in your post) is replaced by button ''1''
this is strange because is on the left of another button with exactly the same name (''1'') and it has different use
i don't know how to transfer the image here, to show you exactly what i mean
i would also recommend to the current day/date/time at the top of the page, to be bolder and easier to distinguish

It's the 1.5 (latest release) not the 2.0 beta.

Templates
Even if icons are important for me, still more important are the templates.
OK, and that is?
Instead of writing "Group Board meeting in Vasa" every time I book a meeting date, I just save the most important meeting names in Templates. And then get them into the right date and time with just one tap.
I have about a dozen different templates for all regular meetings.

I agree regarding templates
I find very useful also, the alarm sound set-up, where you can set individual alarm/reminder sound for each event
I would recommend also, when final version 2 released, to be able to set individual alarm sound for each category
Hedlasse, can you suggest any serious wallpapers for A.C., serious I mean not fuzzy, enabling easy read events
Also what do you think of Bugme! ?
