U cannot clean it, its the fw or the hw what makes it darker compared to other fones. I think u have to live with it. This message was posted from a R520

What I meant was take the phone apart and clean it! From inside, I.e the actual display.

bobafett i think is the display not the firmware.. Why? Because the display is darker only in some regions. In other regions it's as white as it should be!

I didn't drop it... Maybe when they shipped it to Romania from Sweeden they didn't handle it with care!
